I sit down with owner Sako of Symphony Diamonds located at The Shops at
Donmills to discuss what’s new and exciting for 2012.

FW – New and exciting for 2012?

SD – Our most exciting event and one of the most popular one is the Tacori
Trunk show-it happens only twice a year. This event is very special because
the president of Tacori and his entire line from California is present for this exclusive extraordinary event.
Also, our customer appreciation day is dedicated to our loyal customers.
Filled with pampering, champagne and light snacks, providing them with the
latest information about Symphony Diamonds. A day to just say thank you
for your business.

FW – How long have you been in business?

SD – Since 1979 for 32 yrs.

FW – Any new designs for the New Year?

SD – It’s all about transition. I attend the biggest trade shows located
in Switzerland, Venezia Italy and Las Vegas. I make it my duty to
bring in the latest trends and designs. Made in a studio in downtown Toronto,
we make only of a kind pieces.

FW – What are some of the most popular products that sell?

SD – Tacori Brand is the most popular. It is the most requested, most wanted brand in North America and very popular in the bridal industry. They stand
out from the rest. Only company to give life time warranty.

FW – When is the most popular or busiest time during the year to purchase
Jewelry?
SD – December during the holiday season and secondly Valentine’s Day.

FW – Is there any incentives after purchase or warranty that potential new
clients should know about?

SD – Thank you gifts is a ritual. Popular right now is the Engagement
Journal & Keepsake memory box. This set includes a journal for jotting
down memories. From your first date to the proposal, glassine envelopes to

Designer by trade, we specialize in custom designs creating own of a kind
