Slimming Factor
There are a lot of misconceptions about clothes that make you appear slim. We all know that black does help to smooth out bumps and curves but only if it is the right texture and shape for our bodies. Over sized clothing does not make you look smaller, it only makes you look more tent- like, especially for bigger women. Remember to always get clothes that are YOUR SIZE. This fact cannot be stressed enough. It does not help to wear clothes two sizes to big or two sizes to small.
This holiday season remember the tricks to feeling like the best you. Wear clothing that fits you. A tighter jean or pant with a more giving top will help you feel comfortable yet stylish. This season sequence and glitter is in style-so try something with a little bit of sparkle. If you are heavier set you want to try and avoid an all around glittery top that can make you look more like a disco ball rather than holiday chic.
Neutral tones with a pop of colour are always a great trick to look slim. Try base tones with a bright or playful accessory, for example: scarf, necklace, bracelet or statement earrings. Do try to avoid an overdose of really large jewelry. This is a common mistake that women make. Big jewelry does not make you look smaller it only makes you look like Mrs. Chancellor.
This holiday season try something different, a little glitter, a little colour or an unlikely accessory. Not only will you feel better about yourself but it will you send you right into the Christmas spirit!
