Recently Fashion Weekly was invited to view an exhibit at the Bloor Street Chanel Boutique. Arriving at the crisp store we were guided to the upstairs foyer where displayed infront of us was every step of how the classic Chanel Handbag comes to life. Viewing the inner linings of the bag and learning about the love and care that goes behind the making of each one of these historic handbags was not only breathtaking and heart touching. The stories involved a sense of sophistication and grace that was meant to be portrayed by Madame Coco Chanel herself. It was fascinating to see every step of the process and the price matched the quality and dedication that goes into each bag. Fashion may not always be accepted as art but the process behind making one of these fashion pieces was truly an art at many levels!
