The 2010 Oscars Best and Worst Dressed
The Academy can judge the films; we’ll take it from here for the best and worst looks from the 82nd annual Academy Awards.
BEST DRESSED
Demi Moore
In this blush Atelier Versace gown, Demi Moore is one of the best dressed at the
Oscars. The tiered skirt, rose detail and
neutral color all work together cohesively without being too over the top.
Sandra Bullock
This Marchesa dress was radiant and
shimmering which makes for a perfect red carpet showstopper. The beaded bodice is our favourite part of Sandra’s look.
Anna Kendrick
Feminine, sophisticated and sexy all married into one dress. Anna Kendrick’s choice to wear Elie Saab was definitely a smart one, as she looked beautiful! Her Sergio Rossi heels and Chantilly lace on the thigh high slit make this dress so lust worthy.
Meryl Streep
At 60 years old, Meryl Streep shows all the new comers how it’s done, and that she’s still got it! The white gown from Chris March looks divine when paired with the Jimmy Choos, completing Meryl’s look.
Cameron Diaz
A very different look for Ms. Diaz at the 2010 Oscars. The champagne Oscar de la Renta gown is very Old Hollywood. Cameron Diaz completes it with a ruby red lip to complete the look.
WORST DRESSED

Jennifer Lopez
The Armani Prive dress showed off J Lo’s curves but her overall look was disappointing. Some critics said the dress looked like bubble wrap but we don’t think that was the biggest problem. What failed here was Jennifer Lopez’s messy hair that does not match her elegant gown.
Zoe Saldana
From the waist up, this Givenchy gown is beautiful but the cha-cha bottom destroys the look. A dress with less volume in the same light purple hue would have been a better choice for Zoe Saldana.
Charlize Theron
The two tone Christian Dior dress shows off Charlize Theron’s beautiful silhouette but the light pink swirling details on the bodice stick out like a sore thumb.
Sarah J. Parker
The Sex in the City star must have left all her fashion knowledge at home before picking this Chanel for the red carpet. The couture dress looked more like a nightgown than a red carpet outfit.
Vera Farmiga
The cascade of ruffles on this Marchesa dress are overbearing. Although the color is beautiful and rich, our eyes can’t get past the layers and layers of ruffles!
