Canadian Franchise Show 2008
By: Sakina Khawaja, FW
Held at the Toronto Congress Center this past
weekend- the CFA is proud to present yet another
event showcasing options for that person who is
looking to be their own boss with a well reputed
label. With franchise consultants, lawyers and
guest speakers, the show was a great opportunity
to learn about the various options offered to
Canadians who are looking to start their own
business with the backing of a big company. The
list of exhibitors not only boasted your typical
fast food chains but any store, which operates
nationally. Even though trade shows in general
can be deceiving by acting more as a promotional
method for companies who have booths at the
event, the CFA proves to be much more informative
and shows alternatives for the young entrepreneur
in today’s fast paced workplace. If you have money
to invest and don’t want to take a huge risk, a
franchise can be a great option for you!
